China XpressWest Delivering High Speed Rail Service
Welcome to XpressWest: Delivering High Speed Rail Service between Las Vegas and Southern California. XpressWest is a Federally authorized high speed passenger railroad that connects Las Vegas with Southern California. With its Souther n California station initially in Victorville, California, fully electric high speed trains would make the trip along the I-15 corridor to Las Vegas at speeds in excess of 150 MPH with trains leaving every 20 minutes during peak travel times. The train technology and systems will be fully interoperable with the California High Speed Rail system allowing for future high speed service into Burbank and Los Angeles. Identified in the Federal Railroad Administration’s multi-state Southwest rail planning study as a high performance Core Express service corridor, XpressWest will serve as a key component of the Southwest high speed rail system.
